HR Advisor - Blackburn
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Group HR Manager and working with a HR Administrator, the HR Advisor will be responsible for supporting and managing the day to day HR transactions across our Blackburn sites.

Role:
- First point of contact for general HR queries
- Completing investigation procedures and providing advice on disciplinary matters
- Supporting with recruitment across all sites (from advertising roles to offers and onboarding)
- Manage onboarding process and carry out inductions across the business with new starters
- Conduct exit interviews will all leavers
- Support with payroll checks and queries
- Support with the development and implementation of HR working processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and provide a confidential platform for employees to talk about their issues in the workplace.
- Monitor and report on key HR Data / KPI’s such as attrition rates, sickness absence etc.
- Working with the Group HR Manager to identify and address any underlying issues
- Update and issue key company policies and procedures, ensuring they are read, understood and signed to accept.
- Keep up to date with changes in employment law to support in ensuring we remain compliant
- Employee relations and support colleague engagement activities
- Support with ad hoc duties and project work
Key attributes and skills:
- Broad HR generalist experience
- CIPD qualified / qualified through experience with minimum 3 years working in HR in a similar level
- Experience working in manufacturing industry preferred
- Able to work at pace and multitask well
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Active listener
- Confidential
- Comfortable with IT and picking up new systems.
