Senior Service and Sales Order Processor - Blackburn
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Service and Sales Order Processor to join an exciting and fast paced customer focussed business who will strive to deliver consistent service and order process excellence.
The role will be responsible for processing sales orders accurately and on time and will keep customers informed of any issues. The job holder will be the point of contact for general trade service queries.
We are looking for someone who works well in a team, and has direct experience of managing challenging customer service issues, professionally and sensitively.

Role:
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Receive and process incoming orders accurately and promptly in line with targets
- Complete pre order checks in line with commercial agreements identifying and resolving any variances
- Identify in advance any risk to service from areas such as stock availability or range change and take steps to mitigate service issues
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfilment keeping customers updated with any variances
- Support in prepping claims and process the approvals in line with value limits.
- Support new customer enquiries, set up and follow up new opportunities and provide after sales support.
Key attributes and skills:
- Ideally at least 2 years in a sales office environment
- Familiarity with order processing software and systems, especially a sound understanding of Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in FMCG or supply chain is advantageous
