Role:
This new opportunity forms part of our Digital Marketing Team and will be responsible for the daily operation of our websites to ensure customers are provided with an excellent browsing and online shopping experience.
Key duties are: updating content, price adjustments, product management, and ensuring accuracy throughout the sites. You will also be responsible for the content plan and may assist with customer service queries and other communication activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the daily management and execution of all websites (eCommerce and non eCommerce sites) across desktop, app and mobile platforms.
- Update and maintain website content, ensuring all information including prices and descriptions are accurate.
- Monitor, update and maintain accurate stock levels on the website, ensuring all information is correct.
- Correct any errors on the website quickly and ensure all content is up-to-date.
- Track system updates and requests which require coding.
- Identify and escalate any technical or operational issues with our websites to the development team, proactively work with them to provide solutions.
- Prepare and manage the uploading and scheduling of website promotions and offers.
- Maximise search improvements on each site.
- Recommend solutions for added value and sales growth and implement agreed website plans.
- Support in planning and execution of website activity for new launches or campaigns, working with brand, digital and social teams to maximise sales and brand experience across the path to purchase.
- Brief in and create assets for website activity that support new launches, new additions or campaigns, ensuring they are compliant with brand and legal guidelines.
- Conduct weekly checks and monthly audit reviews to ensure functionality and content is accurate and working.
- Pro-actively monitor and share marketing and digital trends, suggesting new ways of working and regularly review working practices to deliver efficient and cost-effective activity.
- Update team reports for digital, social and communications activities and campaigns.
- Contribute to company newsletter online updates and content.
- Schedule activity for assigned brands on digital channels, including social.
- Support in the creation, build and project management of new websites.
- Support with digital campaign planning and execution.
Key attributes and skills:
- Graduate or similar eCommerce / Digital related qualification.
- Experience in an eCommerce Administration role would be advantageous.
- Experience using digital tools and platforms, including Google Analytics and Content Management Systems.
- Experience of Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress would be an advantage.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues.
- Experience of the full Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical.
- Good organisational skills, keeps calm under pressure and good time management.
- Capable of working independently but always a team player.
This role is Hybrid, working a minimum of 3 days at our Blackburn Head Office and up to 2 days working from home if desired.
